🗓We are happy and proud to announce the fifth edition of the Model African Union Bayreuth Conference (#BAYMAU21). From the 3rd to the 6th of June, we warmly invite you to be part of a fruitful digital exchange through various workshops and discussions.

💡This year’s conference will be held online under the theme “Made in Africa. Innovations, Concepts and Solutions for the Challenges of our Time” including topics of utmost relevance for present and future processes and policies.

📚The conference will be offering a well-balanced mix of cultural and informative activities. While the simulation of the African Union is granting interesting debates, the framework program forms a diverse contrast and the possibility to connect with people from all over the world. In addition to an extensive range of workshops, this will also include a movie night, an entrepreneurship forum and two panel discussions on the topics of "Music, film and arts from Africa to the World" and "Emerging worlds of African Imaginaries". The workshops and panel discussions will feature guests such as Kenyan climate activist Elizabeth Wanjiru Wathuti, game designer Olivier Madiba from Cameroon and many more.

🎉We are particularly proud to welcome Ambassador and Head of the African Governance Architecture (AGA) Secretariat to the African Union (AU) Salah S. Hammad, African Union Commissioner for Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (ESTI) Sarah Anyang Agbor, and Tanzanian innovator and CEO of mobileafya Mariatheresa Kadushi during our conference.
